Cake
If you plan on baking your own cake, here are some tips:
- Max size of the cake should be 6 inch in diameter.
- Please put the cake on a circle card thats 6-8 inches.
Day Of the photoshoot
On the day of, please remove the cake from the fridge before you get dressed. The frosting may need up to 3 hours to fully thaw depending on the icing you use.
Clean up
After the cake smash, please do not worry about cleaning. You can take care of yourselves and your little ones! Although I appreciate you helping out, theres no need ~ you've got your hands full with your little one!
before your session
checklist
- Trim your baby's nails! We'll be doing some close ups.
- Washed up and moisturized from head to toe *if possible*. I understand that sometimes this can be tricky.
- Arrange your outfits ahead of time. Include accessories if you like.
- If you're not sure, bring a few outfits and we can choose together.
- Parents, please clean and file your nails. Also bring an outfit that coordinates well with your baby's outfit.
What to bring
- Your favourite outfits for your Baby.
- Bring extra in case of any accidents!
Optional
- Your baby's favourite toy or stuffy.
- A favourite blanket or swaddle.
- Baby lotion and their hair brush.
- Parents outfits.
Studio Location & Parking
Now that you know what to wear and what to bring, don't forget to plan out your day. Before arriving, we recommend downloading the PayByPhone app ahead of time to make it easier to pay for parking!
**Between Monday to Friday, keep in mind that all parking areas have a 2 hr limit. On Saturdays, the first 2 hrs are free and Sunday's & Holidays it's free all day.
During the winter, there is a bike lane. If you're not sure, please contact me.
