before your session
checklist
- Trim your baby's nails! We'll be doing some close ups.
- Washed up and moisturized from head to toe *if possible*. I understand that sometimes this can be tricky.
- Arrange your outfits ahead of time. Include accessories if you like.
- If you're not sure, bring a few outfits and we can choose together.
- Parents, please clean and file your nails. Scrub your lips and bring lip chap!
- Also bring an outfit that coordinates well with your baby's outfit.
What to bring
- Your favourite outfits for your Baby.
- Bring extra outfits in case of any accidents!
- Your baby's favourite toy or stuffy.
- A favourite blanket or swaddle.
- Baby lotion and their hair brush.
- Parents outfits.

If you're a first-time parent—I've been there. I know how tender, emotional, and overwhelming these early days can be. At Little Moons Photography, we take the utmost care of your baby while honouring your needs every step of the way. You’re welcome to watch closely or be hands-on throughout the session—whatever feels best for you.
We typically begin with family photos while your baby is alert or feeding, then move into detailed newborn portraits once they’re all snuggled and sleepy. Every baby is different, and we’ll follow their lead with patience and care.
Studio Location & Parking
Now that you know what to wear and what to bring, don't forget to plan out your day. Before arriving, we recommend downloading the PayByPhone app ahead of time to make it easier to pay for parking!
**Between Monday to Friday, keep in mind that all parking areas have a 2 hr limit. On Saturdays, the first 2 hrs are free and Sunday's & Holidays it's free all day.
During the winter, there is a bike lane. If you're not sure, please contact me.
