At Little Moons, we focus on capturing the essence of you and your family. Some children need more time to get used to a new environment and a new face - And that's okay! I understand what it's like to have a young child. My little moon is under 5 and she has her own unique personality, just like yours. We honour the needs of each little one.

What types of photography services do you offer?

We offer a wide range of photography services, including maternity, newborn, milestone, cake smash, big kid milestones, family legacy and more. Since having my own child, I know how quickly they grow! That's why I put together a great 4x photoshoot bundle called the "Sun & Moon" Package.

Can we choose the location for our photo shoot?

Although most of our portfolio showcases sessions in our studio, we do occasionally offer on-location sessions. We believe that the location plays a significant role in capturing unique and personalized photographs. We're open to capturing your portraits in a place that holds meaning to you. Please contact us for details.

How long does a typical photo session last?

The duration of a photo session varies depending on the type of the sessions. Portrait sessions typically range from 45 to 90 minutes, while newborn sessions can span to 3 hours! We strive to provide ample time to capture all the important moments and ensure you feel relaxed and comfortable throughout your session. We focus on the number of quality photos over how long your session is so it's less stress on you and the family.

How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?

You will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within 3 weeks (I know how eager you must be to share the photos!) From the private online gallery, you have the option of downloading, sharing or choosing images to print. Please note that I have ADHD so sometimes thing slip through. I have team that helps me stay on track! Do not hesitate to follow-up ~ we don't mind at all.

How many pictures will we recieve?

Here at Little Moons, we believe in quality over quantity. We will choose 20 of the best and more significant photos to show the essence of your little one. During each session, we keep in mind how you how want to display your beautiful photography. All packages include one 8" x 10" print of your choice and 40 qty of the best images in digital format. You are welcome to purchase additional images. Bundles are from $20/per image or as low as $5/per image depending on how many you select.

Why did you decide to offer sliding scale pricing?

Photography is how I support my family and in order to be accessible to those like me, I created this sliding scale system.

How does it work?

Investing in a Photoshoot for some may require sacrifices. These sacrifices might involve cutting back on discretionary spending (new clothes, tech, eating out, movies, travelling etc.) without causing long-term harm. However, if investing in a Photoshoot would lead to significant hardships such as struggling to afford basic needs (food, housing, transport), then it is beyond sacrifice.

There are 3 tiers of pricing.

what are the 3 options?

There are 3 options to select from:

  • financially abundant - This means you are passionate about arts and photography. You want to generously support others by supporting my business to sustain this mission.
  • financially stable - you're interested in contributing to the operational expenses.
  • financially fluctuating - your financially situation varies and you are open to receiving support from your community.

I'm still not sure what i fall under.

You can consider paying more if you:

  • own the home you live in
  • have investments, retirement or inherited money
  • are able to travel recreationally
  • have access to financial support in times of need
  • work less or work part time by choice
  • have a high degree of earning power due to privilege. Even if you are not exercising this, please recognize this as a choice.
